AEVIDUM
Mrs. Michelle Famularo and Ms. Hannah Oren are the club advisor.
The word Aevidum, which means "I've got your back," was created by students in 2004 after their classmate died by suicide.There are 2 main goals of Aevidum: to create positive environments where all students feel accepted, appreciated, acknowledged, and cared for in schools and communities across the nation (the 4 pillars) and to erase the stigma around mental health. All students are welcome to join anytime. Students will be involved in activities designed to support the 4 pillars.

Art Club
Art Club is open to both seventh and eighth grade students who are interested in art. Mrs. Lauren Candler is the advisor.
This is a great place to explore your personal interests in art and to gain some hands-on experience with art tools and materials if you are not in art class or if you just want more art in your life! Throughout the course of the year, we will participate in community service, building beautification, and many more exciting unique projects that will be showcased around the building as well as NAMS yearly art show.

Best Buddies Mentors
The advisors are Mrs. Lauren Candler and Mr. Christopher Knecht.
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
NAMS role in this incredible club is to provide eighth grade students the opportunity to work closely with our Life Skills and Autistic Support classrooms as mentors. During the year, select students will be able to build relationships, engage in beneficial social activities, and grow with their buddies.

Blue Eagle Ambassadors
Blue Eagle Ambassadors are a group of seventh and eighth grade students who serve as representatives of the Nazareth Area Middle School. They assist Guidance and Administration with various programming such as:
- Open House
- End of Month Activities
- Monthly Themed Activities
- Annual NAMS Walk-a-Thon
- Community Service Activities
- School wide events (March Madness Tournament)
- 6th Grade Transition

This club allows you a chance to meet and talk with fellow book lovers! Discuss what you are currently reading, favorite author's, local events etc. We meet the first and third Tuesday of the week.

eSports
Are you interested in taking your video gaming to the next level? Last year we launched the first ever eSports program at the Middle School!
We are looking for applicants who wish to join the competitive eSports team and help us build the program so that we can compete against other buildings within the Nazareth School District and other schools in the area! Not only are we gamers, but we are looking to build a multimedia and streaming group as well to share our gameplay.
If you are interested in learning about the NAMS eSports club, please sign up for the informational meeting next Wednesday 9/21on FlexTime Manager. We will be explaining the format and the goals of the club this year.
Please understand that this is not just a club to play video games in school. There will be an application process and several requirements you need to continue to meet in order to stay in if you get in.

Girl Empowerment
Mrs. Shawn Remely and Mrs. Nichole Boger are the club advisors.
Girl Empowerment is for 8th grade girls only. The purpose of the club is to impact the community by helping girls build their dreams, build positive, healthy relationships and friendships, learn good communication skills, leadership skills and your legacy for your school and world. Girls will learn to turn their dreams into a vision, have a positive mindset, and make their voices heard!

GSA is a space for students in the lgbtq+ community and allies of the community to work together and create ideas, projects, and have discussions in a safe environment.

Interact Club
This club meets the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month with Ms. Kathy Heller and Mrs. Mauser serving as the club advisors.
Interact is a service club for youth who want to connect with other young people and have fun while serving their communities and learning about the world. We will be meeting the first and third Thursdays of each month, during Activity Period at the end of the day. NAMS Interact will organize two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that supports international understanding.

This performance-based club is open to all types of musicians, dancers, poets, and artists. This club is good for students who enjoy getting on stage and performing for their friends.

Newspaper

This application requires a short writing piece, and a teacher referral. In the club, students can write about subjects they are passionate about, strengthen their skills, and meet new people.

SADD Club
Mrs. Kathy Linkowsky will be the club advisor.
SADD club focuses on Awareness and Prevention regarding Students and Destructive Decisions. Students will plan and implement Awareness and Prevention campaigns throughout the school year within the school community.
SAVE club will be part of the SADD club. These two clubs will be held as one, working together for a common purpose.

SAVE Club
SAVE stands for Students Against Violence Everywhere. SAVE is a student-led club that encourages students to take charge of keeping their friends, school and community safe. We will be coming up with ideas for fun ways to bring the student body together and create a fun, positive and safe atmosphere that includes everyone.
SADD Club is teaming up with SAVE Club. These two clubs will be held as one, working together for a common purpose; to brainstorm fun ideas and events to create a positive and inclusive school culture. Students will help organize school-wide events like Game Day & HELLO Bingo during Activity period.

WWII/Veterans Appreciation Club
This club's advisor is Mrs. Josie Dankel.
The WWII and Veterans Appreciation Club primarily involves looking at the European campaign of the war through the reading of a memoir written by an American soldier who served in Europe during the time of the Battle of the Bulge, and until the end of the war. When possible, we also write and send Christmas cards to veterans in local nursing/retirement homes. Other topics pertaining to WWII, and military service, are explored via video, additional texts, and possibly correspondence with veterans.

Yearbook

Yearbook is open to any 7th or 8th grade students who are truly interested in working together collaboratively on creating the 2022-2023 NAMS Yearbook. Students will be designing, writing, taking pictures and gathering information throughout the year. -
