Hello NASD Families and Staff,
We want to make you aware of a non-emergency traffic situation near Nazareth Area High School.
An electric pole at the corner of Liberty Street and the NAHS access road is experiencing a minor electrical arcing issue. Fire Police and Upper Nazareth Police were on the scene, and the electrical company has been notified and will be making the necessary repairs.
As a precaution, all buses are being temporarily detoured from Liberty Street. There is no impact to student or staff safety, and school operations continue as normal.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this is addressed.
Thank you,
Dr. Resende

Dear Families,
We want to make you aware that several road closures on Jacobsburg Road and Young Road are preventing some school buses from safely reaching their assigned stops. If your child’s bus stop is affected by these closures and you are able to safely transport your student to school, we kindly ask that you do so.
If students arrive late due to these transportation issues, they should report directly to the main office of their school building upon arrival.
If you are unable to provide transportation, please contact the Transportation Office at 610-759-1170, ext. 1177, so we can assist you as needed.
Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we navigate these challenging road conditions. Safety comes first.
Sincerely,
Dr. Resende

A special shout-out to Team 5, who brought home 3rd PLACE! 🏆 WHOO HOO! We are so impressed by everyone's hard work and innovation. 🦅💙

We experienced an issue with our Apptegy Alert system. Texts and emails were sent, and phone calls are now going out.
The message is also posted on our social media and WFMZ. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, due to inclement weather and the need to clear our campuses of snow, all athletics and extra-curricular activities for this evening are canceled. This includes the NAHS Holiday Pops Concert, which will be held on its snow date of December 11, 2025. We will reevaluate the weather conditions by 5:00 AM tomorrow, Thursday, December 11, 2025.

Ms. Stout’s 9th grade students in Intro to Family and Consumer Sciences partnered with first grade classes taught by Mrs. Primerano and Miss Freed at Shafer for a collaborative Monster Project. The first graders designed their own monsters, and the high school students used those drawings to sew stuffed versions and write matching stories. The groups recently met so the 9th graders could deliver the handmade monsters and read the stories aloud, creating a fun and meaningful cross-grade experience.

Please VOTE for the NAHS high school's snowplow entry in this year’s Paint the Plow Program sponsored by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. This year's theme was, " Don't race. Allow some space". Art 3 and AP Art students worked incredibly hard on this project. Every single student contributed to the design and execution, even on some very cold days. They showed tremendous creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and perseverance throughout the process, and we are so proud of the unique solution and memories they created together. Please take a moment to cast your vote for their plow! It means a lot to us!

What an unforgettable day for the Nazareth High School community! We didn’t just celebrate a century of Nazareth Football—we honored the legacy of every athlete who’s ever worn the Blue and White. The crowd erupted as Philadelphia Eagles star and Nazareth alumnus Jahan Dotson 🦅 returned home to share his Blue Eagle pride in the unforgettable retirement of his #5! 💙
Nazareth alumni players, including Nazareth HS teacher Mr. DJ Erdie, proudly took the field once again, wearing his late father’s jersey in a powerful tribute to family and Nazareth tradition.
This was more than a game; it was a reunion of generations built on pride, passion, and community. 💙 Thank you to everyone who helped make this milestone celebration one for the history books! #NASDProud
