• Mission Statement
The Nazareth Area School District Counseling Department in collaboration with school staff, parents, and community, will facilitate all students in developing their academic, career, and personal/social strengths. All students in grades K through 12 will participate in a planned, developmentally age-appropriate, and comprehensive school counseling program that is accountable and based on the national standards. In an effort to meet the emerging needs of an ever-changing society, this school counseling program will continually improve the delivery of services to make certain it is relevant to the population it serves. This program will ensure all students have access to and are prepared with the knowledge and skills to become effective learners. As a result, all students will recognize attitudes and behaviors necessary for success, thus allowing them to develop into contributing members of society.
