The following are the start dates for the 2024-25 School Sports Seasons recognized by the PIAA:
Fall Sports Start Dates
August 5 - V/JV Football (Heat Acclimatization Week), V/Jr High Co-ed Golf
August 12 - MS/HS Boys/Girls Cross Country, all levels of Cheer, MS/HS Field Hockey, MS/Jr High Football, V/JV Boys & Girls Soccer, V Girls Tennis & MS/HS Girls Volleyball
Winter Sports Start Date
November 15 - MS/HS Boys & Girls Basketball, Winter Cheer - all levels, V Boys & Girls Swimming/Diving and Jr. High/HS Boys & Girls Wrestling
Spring Sports Start Date
March 3 - V/JV Baseball, V/JV Boys & Girls Lacrosse, MS Co-ed Soccer, MS/HS Softball, V Boys Tennis, V Boys & Girls Track & Field and MS/HS Boys Volleyball
Please Note: Per the PIAA, 7th-12th grade students are only permitted to participate on PIAA sanctioned sports teams sponsored by the Nazareth Area School District. All 6th grade students must continue to participate in local youth athletic associations until the 7th grade.
