Office of the Superintendent
The Board of School Directors and Dr. Kaskey, District Superintendent, have mutually agreed to part ways. The School Board extends its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kaskey for his dedicated service and leadership during his tenure with the Nazareth Area School District and wishes Dr. Kaskey all the best in his future endeavors.
The School Board and Dr. Kaskey feel that a seamless organized transition is in the best interests of the District’s students, staff, and community. As we look forward to the 2024-2025 school year, our Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Resende will assume many of the day-to-day responsibilities to ensure a smooth return to school for our staff, students, and parents.

Welcome to the Nazareth Area School District. Our District is comprised of families from the Boroughs of Nazareth, Stockertown, and Tatamy, and the Townships of Bushkill, Lower Nazareth, and Upper Nazareth, which encompasses approximately 48.61 square miles. The School District’s current enrollment is approximately 4,902 students. Our Budget for the 2022-2023 school year is $102,534,266. Please feel to browse our website for additional information in reference to the district. In addition, our administrative team takes pride in assisting individuals with their needs and questions. Our staff members take a great deal of pride in their responsibility to provide first-class educational opportunities for our students.

The Nazareth Area School District is a wonderful place to raise a family. The community is rich in history and culture. There is a great deal of pride and tradition coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow. I am honored to serve our children, families, and community in the capacity of Superintendent of Schools.
