Comprehensive Plan

In accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements under Chapter 4 of the School Code, Nazareth Area School District entered the Comprehensive Planning process this past school year (2022). Over the course of March 2022 through May 2022, a committee of 67 Board Members, administrators, staff, community members, and parents, met three times and participated in activities that identified successes, identified challenges, and researched opportunities for growth in the areas of: 

• K-12 Teaching & Learning
• Professional Development
• Technology 
• Safe & Supportive Schools

The work of the committee resulted in the creation of Nazareth Area School District’s 2022-2025 Comprehensive Plan, which can be found on this page. District administrators, Building administrators, faculty, and staff will implement, and monitor action plans tied to the Comprehensive goals, through the duration of the Comprehensive Plan (November 31, 2022 – June 30, 2025). 

The Comprehensive Plan was Board approved on November 7, 2022.
