Join Us: Shape the Future of Nazareth Area Schools - Comprehensive Planning Committee
Dear Nazareth Area School District Community Members and Families,
We are excited to share an update on the 2025–2028 Comprehensive Planning process!
The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requires all districts to engage in comprehensive planning every three years. This important process allows us to reflect on our successes, address challenges, and strategically plan for continuous improvement. Your input as parents, guardians, and community members is invaluable in helping us develop a strong, forward-thinking plan.
The selection process for the Comprehensive Planning Advisory Committee closed on April 4, 2025. We are grateful for the many individuals who expressed interest and are excited to work with our committee members throughout the planning process. The committee will collaborate to develop a plan that reflects the needs and aspirations of the entire school community. Members contribute by:
-
Participating in discussions and activities focused on key areas such as educational value statements, teaching and learning, staff professional growth, and safe and supportive schools.
-
Providing valuable insights and perspectives that will inform the district's goals and strategies.
Our first planning meeting was held on Thursday, April 24th. If you were unable to attend or would like to review the materials, the presentation from the meeting is available below.
We look forward to continuing this important work at our upcoming meetings:
-
Thursday, May 29th, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (NAIS Library)
-
Thursday, June 12th, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (NAIS Library)
