Referral and Evaluation for Special Education
Requests for evaluations to determine special education eligibility may be initiated by parents or educators. Parents may initiate requests either orally or in writing.
If you feel your child is struggling and potentially in need of an evaluation, you may contact a member of the school building administration/staff your child attends, school psychologist for the building your child attends or you may wish to speak with the Director of Special & Alternative Education. The school psychologist and Director of Special & Alternative Education can review your concerns and discuss the process with you.
