Congratulations to Mr. Gino Tomaino, High School Custodian, for being put in this week’s employee spotlight. Known for his love of Coca-Cola, various snacks and candy, and being a Dallas Cowboys fan, Gino’s energy and attitude are contagious to all in his company. Whether setting up the gym for a game, helping teachers with something in their classrooms, preparing classrooms for the next day, or any one of a thousand other tasks, Gino is always willing to help and does so with a smile on his face. He is always ready to take on extra responsibilities and work as long as possible to get the job done. His positive outlook, “can do” attitude, and dedication to his work serve as a source of pride for the school and district.
Gino has been employed by the Nazareth Area School District (NASD) at the high school since 2010, where he continues to be an integral part of the daily operations at the building. In addition to serving the school district, Gino proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Employers look for trustworthy, reliable, well-organized custodians who can solve problems; fortunately for NASD, Mr. Tomaino checks all these boxes. Throughout his twelve-year tenure, Gino’s loyalty and service to our students and staff have been second to none.
Gino is a 1978 graduate of Easton Area High School and a graduate of Northampton Community College. He currently resides in Easton with his wife Dawn of 30 years. Gino’s hobbies include watching football and selling Scentsy in his spare time. On behalf of myself, the Administration, and the Board of School Directors, I would like to thank Gino for his years of service and dedication to the Blue and White.
