Bellocchio, Secretary to Pupil ServicesDear Parents and Members of the Nazareth Area School District Community,The Pupil Services Department is dedicated to remove barriers and create opportunities for success with students by providing programs designed to serve the academic, social, emotional and physical needs of all students. Specially trained professionals and a committed support staff work collaboratively with the regular education program to assist students in achieving their potential. The pupil services department welcomes parental input and an open dialogue to improve student performance.
The Pupil Services Department is comprised of school counselors, school psychologists, school nurses, English as a second language teachers, teachers of the mentally gifted students, Chapter 15/504 services, Student Assistance Program teams, and Response to Intervention Teams. These highly experienced professionals provide a network of services within each school to ensure all students achieve the knowledge, skill, and experience to succeed and become responsible citizens in an ever-changing global society.Sincerely,
