    Currently, three credits of mathematics are required for graduation at NHS, with a prescribed course for each grade level. Beginning with the Class of 2013, four credits of mathematics will be required for graduation. Courses are offered in varying levels including On-Level, College Prep, Honors, and Advanced Placement.

     

    Grading is done based on mastery of knowledge and skills in the math classroom. Instruction is diversified to meet the student’s needs. Tutoring is offered through after school assistance and by math teachers in Eagle Block.
