Grades K-4 Science
The Nazareth Area School District’s Grades K-4 Science Program provides foundational understanding in three strands: Life Science, Earth Science, and Physical Science. Each grade level is instructed in one unit in each of the three strands. These units are aligned to the PA Academic Standards for Science and to the Next Generation Science Standards. Core instructional resources vary by grade level and unit and may include Foss kits, STC kits, and district-developed units. All units culminate in a common activity or assessment.
