Grades 5-6 Science
The Nazareth Area School District’s Grades 5-6 Science Program provides students with hands-on, rigorous instruction that is aligned to PA Academic Standards for Science and to Next Generation Science Standards. Students develop an understanding of the scientific method and then are able to apply this learning in hands-on experiments. In addition, students learn science concepts and vocabulary, build inquiry skills and 21st Century Skills, and incorporate math and writing in each science lesson. Students are assessed through common assessments and common lab experiences.
